How can we help?
Write to support@notespilot.ai, or in the app choose Settings › General › Send feedback…, which fills in your app and macOS versions for you. We read every message.
The other side of the call isn't in the transcript
NotesPilot needs two permissions: Microphone for your voice, and System Audio Recording for the call. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, check that NotesPilot is turned on under both, then quit and reopen NotesPilot. It never records your screen.
My voice isn't in the transcript
In Settings › General › Recording, set the microphone to Automatic, which follows the microphone your Mac is using and switches when you plug in a headset. If you use AirPods or another Bluetooth headset, make sure it's connected before the call starts.
NotesPilot crashed
Sorry about that. When you reopen it, NotesPilot rebuilds any meeting that was being recorded and asks once whether to send us the crash report. Please say yes: it's how we find and fix the problem, and it contains code locations only, never your meetings. You can change this in Settings › General › Diagnostics. If it keeps happening, write to us and say what you were doing.
Moving to a new Mac
Turn on Settings › General › Backup on your old Mac. On the new Mac, install NotesPilot, open the same setting and choose Restore….
Updates
NotesPilot checks for updates once a day and installs them when you quit, never during a recording. To check now, choose Check for Updates… from the menu bar icon. Every version is listed in the release notes and on the releases page.
Uninstalling
Quit NotesPilot and move it from Applications to the Trash. Your meetings stay in ~/Library/Application Support/NotesPilot in case you come back; delete that folder too to remove them. API keys are in Keychain Access under "ai.notespilot.app".
